Dream
Editor is a set of components and controls allowing integration of highly
flexible editors and memos. With Dream Editor you can view and edit
Delphi, C++, HTML, Perl and other languages source code. Dream Editor
includes all key features of Borland IDE editor. Additionally, it provides
multi-byte character support and the ability to create cross-platform
applications that can be run on both Windows and Linux.

They can be used to view and edit your source
text; highlight syntax expressions of commonly used programming and mark-up

The

common languages (C++, Delphi, HTML, Perl and others) are included.
Also, you can develop personalized syntax highlighting

Text displayed in Dream Editor control can be
split into several pages when needed. Moreover, Dream Editor may display

margins, line numbers. These interface features are widely
used in Delphi/C++ Builder IDE. All settings of gutter and margin
can be easily customized as you may change gutter
size and fill color, set the new gutter position and color, or toggle
line numbers.

wrap. If you are working on the text with long lines, word
wrap feature becomes extremely useful. You will not need to scroll far
any more - since all long lines will be wrapped
to fit the size of editing control.

code templates. Delphi and C++ Builder templates are
built-in, and you can easily add your own.

DB-aware
editor can view and edit database text.

settings dialog. This dialog can be
used to customize editor control at runtime.

views of the same text. You can edit the same text in several
edit controls with Dream Editor. Only one copy of the text is stored
