Dream InfoTree pack includes TDCTree control - 100% VCL treeview control which is not based on standard TTreeView and that is why you don't have to worry whether your users have the latest version of COMCTL32.DLL. Internal architecture of Dream InfoTree is based on a new concept of InfoSet that changes the usual style of working with hierarchically organized data.

When working with standard Delphi Tree/List View programmers need to implement, in fact, different visual controls (tree and list views) for processing data from different sources (e.g. databases, files, etc.). Now these problems are gone. The main advantage of InfoTree architecture is that there is the clear distinction between data acquiring and data visualization.

Relationships between Dream InfoTree components and controls are like those between Data Access and Data Controls components. InfoSet processes data, InfoTree and InfoListView controls display it. Thus when working with custom data you do not need to implement new visual controls. Instead of doing this you only have to make a new InfoSet.
